Years with Company: Coming on 3 (I was gone for a short period but feel like I never left).
Favorite thing about working with Homegrown Tap and Dough: I love the vibe of Homegrown Tap and Dough - the family friendliness of it all speaks to me greatly mainly due to the fact that I am a mother of 2 - it means a lot to a family to have a place they love to go and eat
Something you've learned at Homegrown Tap & Dough: I have learned so much about the human spirit through my time working here - the connection to the neighborhood and staff and creating the family within the restaurant
Years with Company: 1.
Favorite thing about working with Homegrown Tap and Dough: The amazing people that I get to work with day in and day out.
Something you've learned at Homegrown Tap & Dough: I have learned a lot of new leadership techniques and a lot more of the managerial aspect of the restaurant. Some of it in direct contrast to the kitchens I came up in, but they work, and having such eye opening experiences is amazing.
Years with Company: 2.
Favorite thing about working with Homegrown Tap and Dough: I would have to say my favorite thing about working for Homegrown and for our company in general is feeling like hard work can make an impact on not only the restaurant, but on our company as a whole. Knowing that my hard work will not only be recognized, but rewarded and respected is the reason that I work hard in the first place. We are lucky to have hard working, involved, hands on ownership along with a great corporate team and on down the ladder. It's truly motivating to know that if I have a problem, I can pick up the phone, call one of our owners and know that they will help me do what it takes to solve it.
Something you've learned at Homegrown Tap & Dough: Hard to pin point only one thing! I would say that a large part of what I have had to learn and improve on is communication. In our industry, there are so many moving parts, and as a GM, you have to be able to think on your feet very quickly and not only make decisions very quickly, but follow through with them. Communication with staff that I manage, the staff that manages me, guests, vendors, and so on is at the utmost importance. It has been a skill that I have been able to really hone in on with my experience here at Homegrown.

Favorite thing about working with Homegrown Tap and Dough: Great coworkers!!
Something you've learned at Homegrown Tap & Dough: I learned this a while ago but I see it every day at HGTD and it’s a great feeling… doing something nice for a customer, going above and beyond and helping to make their day great, is an awesome feeling.
